Development focus will be the content of the messages within the given C-ITS and Car2Car connectivity framework, in order to actually support decisions for the avoidance of collisions and dangerous situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In contrast to current autonomous emergency braking and warning algorithms, which are only unilateral systems, these now become cooperating, interactive algorithms with bilateral and multilateral (re)couplings in COPE. This tremendously increases the complexity of the functions, requireing advanced system-of-systems development approaches. In addition to the content of the information exchanged, it is also a matter of dealing with data of different qualities and degrees of trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The development of the appropriate message content is carried out by a concerted combination of scenario management and data-driven development methods with artificial intelligence and prospective effectiveness assessment for the integrated validation of cooperative control algorithms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Appropriate maps and information are required for both scenario management and interpretation of the local environment context.
